From the anatomy of the eye and visual perception to cultural perspectives on sight
We take your campus on a journey through the many layers of vision, from the anatomy of the eye and the science of perception to the ways culture, memory, and imagination shape what we see. Along the way, we use photography, filmmaking, movement, and creative experiments to turn seeing into expression.

At Seeing School, we treat seeing not as something we do automatically, but as a skill, an art, and a wonder.
Our programs are conceptual; designed to broaden perspectives. We all learn something special by seeing the world through some else's eyes, especially if they are five or eighty-five.
Seeing School originates from the fact that everyone sees differently. Our classes are one of a kind and conceptual- discovering the anatomy of 'the eye', learning about how movement is perceived, building cameras, taking a closer look into the many ways of seeing and even getting curious about how the different members of the animal kingdom 'sees'.
